David Kriegh has served as Director of the Gellert Memorial Library since 2013.  He joined St. Patrick's as a librarian in 2012, following a career in public, special, and academic libraries.  Since 2013 he has been an active member of the American Theological Library Association and serves as the convener of that association's Roman Catholic Denominational Group.  He studied History, Classical Civilization, and Performing Arts at Colby College, and Library and Information Science at San Jose State.  He lives in Pacifica with his wife, Frances.  In 2016 he ran his first (and probably only) marathon.  When not running, he enjoys reading, listening to music and podcasts, and learning new things.
