Out of an abundance of caution, and in consultation with local public health authorities, St. Patrick's Seminary & University is taking the following steps in light of the historic challenges that COVID-19 is presenting.
Effective immediately, St. Patrick's Seminary & University will finish its current term as regularly scheduled, but with all courses delivered live and online using an interactive video conferencing platform. There will be no option to attend class sessions in person for the remainder of the term. Spiritual and human formation meetings will continue as remote conferences between the seminarians and their directors. All seminarians will be returning to their home dioceses for the remainder of the school year.
The campus is closed to all visitors who are not on any official seminary business. The main office will be closed until further notice. If you have to contact the seminary business staff, please send an email to [email protected].
To the best of its ability, the seminary will be monitoring and responding to the recommendations set by the local health officials and the Archdiocese of San Francisco to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
