Each Spring, the Archdiocese for the Military Services hosts its Vocation Discernment Retreat at St. Patrick’s Seminary & University.  This year, 28 discerners from the various branches of the armed services came to STPSU to discern God’s call.  They were welcomed by the STPSU community and also by Archbishop Timothy P. Broglio, who celebrated Mass for the discerners and talked to them about priestly discernment for the Archdiocese for the Military Services.  Bishop Michael Barber, SJ from the Diocese of Oakland and Chaplain for the Navy also talked to the men about discernment.

STPSU is proud to support the Archdiocese for the Military Services, which provides pastoral ministries and spiritual services to those in the United States Armed Forces.   Currently the Archdiocese for the Military Services has approximately 200 priests on active duty to serve the more than 1.8 million Catholics and their families in the U.S. Military.  Our upcoming 2018 Gala on September 29th will honor the Archdiocese for the Military Services, with Archbishop Broglio returning to the Seminary to accept the honor.

Please join STPSU in praying for the men and women in the Armed Services and for vocations to the Archdiocese for the Military Services.
